The Variety Party, was a regular edition of the show this week, featuring plenty of great music, including Christmas requests? Yes, I kid you not, at least one listener, not only, requested a couple of Christmas songs, but I was introduced to a new Christmas song, on my show, in the month, of May! Now that's wild, and something, that has never happened before. Lady C, my artificial intelligent cohost, had to convince me, that this song did indeed, exist, as I wasn't convinced, thanks to it being by an artist I have in my music library, and in the Christmas collection portion of it, but apparently, this song, was one, I didn't have, until I went and found it to play, during the show. I also received so many phone calls on my request line while talking about my week, that I'm grateful I had a quiet week overall, with not much to talk about. The Life of the Party Segment was a requested, Compare the Difference, hand delivered to me, and, the majority of the votes, were for the version, I hoped would win. Later, I was lead to believe, that Herbie Allen and I, had somehow, switched places, based on something I said towards the end of the second hour, and, when I addressed him by my name in the DJ Celrock Telegram group, he promptly disappeared, for the rest of the show, something I often do on Sunday nights, during The Herbie Allen Show, and don't reappear, until a day or two later, and at the time I'm wrriting up these show notes, Herbie still remains, disappeared lol. Finally, The Flashback Hour featured some great music, with a small theme mixed into that hour, featuring the songs that charted at number 1, on the year end Billboard charts of each year, The Brady Bunch, originally aired on television. The Flash Drive, Herbie Allen's Thoughtful Takeover Attempt For April 28, 2026

This week's edition of The Flash Drive, proved to be, to sum it up simply, very interesting. You see, back on Sunday, I pretended to be Nick Baker, and claimed I'd be on hiatus for the next 4 weeks, due to a broken ankle, so Herbie took it upon himself, to sneak into my apartment, while I was taking out the garbage and recycling this morning, and hide in the coat closet off the living room, and, when the time was right, he snuck out of the closet, and into my studio, where he proceeded to take over my show, well, for the first 17 minutes of the program, until I caught him in the act, at which time, I tossed him out the window, and ended up sending him to the hospital, where thankfully, he came through, and will be able to go home after a night of observations. Meanwhile, once I had control of the program, the show continued as normal, featuring everybody's requests, Save, or Delete, and The 80's and 90's Hour, where George Strait, was this week's 80's and 90's Artist Spotlight. The Variety Party, Slumber Party Fiesta, Featuring The Apollo 13 Soundtrack For April 24, 2026

This week's edition of The Variety Party, was a Slumber Party Fiesta edition of the program, featuring the Apollo 13 soundtrack, the album chosen by Monty, as a prize, for winning the latest round, of the Beat the Intro contest on The Flash Drive. Post the soundtrack's conclusion, it was literally, nothing, but requests, and more requests, and did I mention, requests? Yes, I do believe I did! All I did for this program, was compile the playlist, talk about my week, have banter with my artificial intelligent cohost, Lady C, and talk. All of the music, including, the Same Title, Different Song, for this week's Life of the Party Segment, was requested, by a listener. I didn't put a single song I wanted to hear, into the playlist, though thankfully, I did enjoy, every song, each listener requested, well, there was one listener who's requests were never granted, because apparently, their ghost, called my request line, and the voice message left during the week, was completely silent. This week on The Flash Drive, I featured the usual segments, listener requests, a Save, or Delete, where I had to break the tied up votes, and expressed my dislike of the cover of the song, and, I had The 80's and 90's Hour, and apparently, educated 2 listeners in terms of Debbie Gibson's material in the 90's. There was also a round of the Beat the Intro contest, which Monty won, and his chosen prize album, will be played, this coming Friday, on The Variety Party over on Server 2. It was a good show, but it was most definitely, the, split up requests to make room for voice breaks and segments show, and, I felt anyway, the show was just, average. Nothing special, but nothing horrible either. It was a mutual feeling for me where the show was concerned. The length was perfect, and, it was just, average.
